Offers Monthly Wheelchair Clinic

Are you in need of an evaluation for a power or manual wheelchair?  Have you wondered if a wheelchair is right for you?Get your questions answered by our certified Assistive Technology Practitioner.  Tiffany Paavola, OTR at Keweenaw Memorial’s Rehabilitation Center specializes in wheelchair assessments and will be conducting monthly Wheelchair Clinics at our Laurium Rehab and Fitness Center. Clinics have been scheduled as follows:  February 20, March 26, April 23, May 21, June 25, July 23, August 20, September 24, October 29, November 24, December 17.  The clinics will run from 8am til noon. Tiffany will be accompanied by a local wheelchair vendor and available to asses your wheelchair needs. Appointments are necessary so please call 906.337.7000 to schedule.  Note:  If a full evaluation and fitting become necessary, a physician referral will be required.
